    Re: Bush Lapa general discussions

That's quite strange. I've queried my premium twice already and it can't be lowered apparently. All my other insurance (house, 2 cars, all risk items etc) are with them and I'm on the best risk...

    Re: Bush Lapa general discussions

Myne is ook dit by Santam vir R640, maar in die groter prentjie is my premie en diens heelwat beter as die ander waar ek al by was. Kyk bv jou bybetaling ook. My vorige versekeraar wou n 30%...

Re: Tankwa Karoo and Old Postal Route

Thanks. The 1st crossing is the big one so you would've approached it similar to my picture above (from the left). 400mm wow, so it was pretty much a full flowing rivier.

    Re: Is this it?

Hmm ... I wonder if soldiers also moaned back in the day when they got upgraded from a Lee-Enfield to a machine gun for warfare? Imagine the unions staging strikes demanding their old weapons back....

    Re: Is this it?

Reading through the comments and the utter useless arguments with the intent of going absolutely nowhere, I've realized again us humans are really a funny species.

Believe it or not, but the new...

    Re: Is this it?

That is one of the reasons why it probably won't be practical for me unfortunately (the other one being the price tag and the % drop it'll take over the 1st three years). My sons are 5 and 6 so I'm...

    Re: camping sites open?

I also understand some camp sites are open (I suppose it is now up to them to implement applicable social distancing measures), although inter provincial travel is not allowed. Best to phone a...

    Re: Ineos Grenadier revealed!!

You're 100% correct. It could be an awesome Defender (or Cruiser / G Wagon / what else?) replacement possibility with the overall market not really focusing on those rugged "basic" type vehicles. ...

    Re: Ineos Grenadier revealed!!

I don't think it's a matter of criticizing the vehicle as such, but more a matter of pointing out that this is not a Land Rover and shouldn't be regarded as a Defender or its replacement.

    It is...

Re: Tankwa Karoo and Old Postal Route

I'm quite interested how much water was in the river? Last time we were there, there was no drop of water in sight. (Apr 19)

    Re: Ineos Grenadier revealed!!

If they're happy to move away from Land Rover, yes by all means. I would honestly then rather go 76 series Cruiser.

    Re: Ineos Grenadier revealed!!

Totally understandable, but that's not a manufacturer problem, but a consumer change management problem. They seemingly made a great product that will appeal to many more than just the old Defender...

    Re: Ineos Grenadier revealed!!

The sad reality is that, although it very much looks like a Defender and might be based on it, it is not a Land Rover Defender, will never ever continue the legacy of a Defender and is made by an...
