    Re: Old caravan questions

I replaced my stock gas/12v/220v fridge in my Regal with a normal 220v fridge.

So now the vent is used to sweep out debris, and also as a place where my portable aircon pipe goes out. ;D

    Re: Heavy duty braai grids

I have a SS braai, but with a mild steel grid.

The braai stands in the wind and the rain and the grid never gets cleaned after a braai. Only before the meat goes on, it gets dumped in the flames,...

    Re: Android tablets: entry level

I was mentioning RAM. Not storage. :) Hence the slow comment.

512mb is paltry in today's terms. Not sure how much you can optimize a OS to run on 512mb of memory. :-X

At least get something decent that will not be a PITA to work with.

The Neon IQ7...wow. 512mb memory. 2000mah battery. It will be dog slow and on the charger most of the time.

    The alcatel...

Ek het so ruk terug gesoek na 'n 80's, vroŽ 90's model Hilux.

Tot ek die pryse gesien het en dit maar laat vaar.

Mens sou sweer die goed is collectors items. ;D

I can't give two hoots about someone enjoying camping alone, off the grid ect.

But don't paint all campers with the same brush. ...
