    Re: Telescopic Camp Light

I for one cannot understand some people wanting so much light at their camp site..

Then for some reason, they think that you would want more light at your campsite as well.

  9. Re: Help wanted: National Luna Portable Power Pack not working

    I hope you come right
  10. Re: Help wanted: National Luna Portable Power Pack not working

To be honest, if being logic. It should light up and display the battery level, if the battery is connected via the box's cables..

Even if the red plug is not connected
  11. Re: Help wanted: National Luna Portable Power Pack not working

Yes it will from the battery, you are correct.

I was meaning between the red and grey plugs
  12. Re: Help wanted: National Luna Portable Power Pack not working

    I cannot recall exactly..

I charged my additional battery through the grey plug when I bypassed the onboard solenoid of my old NL box, after I got my DC to Dc charger, and cannot remember the box...
  13. Re: Help wanted: National Luna Portable Power Pack not working

yes it will work to the hella and cigarette plugs, but the breaker is "between" the red and grey plugs
  14. Re: Help wanted: National Luna Portable Power Pack not working

    this below
  15. Re: Help wanted: National Luna Portable Power Pack not working

You need to connect it via the red plug, connecting it via the grey plug by passes the solenoid and the breaker
  16. Re: Help wanted: National Luna Portable Power Pack not working

I dont recall a timer light on my old one.

Does the light that indicates that it is connected to the main battery come on, a small red one?
  17. Re: Help wanted: National Luna Portable Power Pack not working

Do you wait a couple of minutes for the solenoid to switch?

  22. Poll: Re: What do you feel more comfortable with, newer car, or an easier to fix car?

    Vehicles donít only have engines..

Long life of off road or even on road use means more wear and tear on drive trains and suspensions as well
  23. Poll: Re: What do you feel more comfortable with, newer car, or an easier to fix car?

    Are spark plugs electric? :)

  32. Poll: Re: What do you feel more comfortable with, newer car, or an easier to fix car?

If you have an older Hilux with 300k km on, and a newer one with 30k km on.. which one would you deem more reliable?
  33. Poll: Re: What do you feel more comfortable with, newer car, or an easier to fix car?

    like an ox wagon? ;D
  34. Poll: What do you feel more comfortable with, newer car, or an easier to fix car?

Going on a couple of threads here that are targeting the older, or almost very older 4x4s I have a question:

Do you feel more comfortable overlanding in:

An older (very old) easier to fix...
