Never managed to get them from Isuzu. They always had to order.

But there is a local Indian that has a spare shop, that sources them from somewhere. This was back in 2012 when he charged me R120...

    Re: Isuzu questions

Those mags were on the 3.2 V6 and 280DT vehicles. 1999 to 2003 (give or take a year to both). Both the KB and the Frontier sported these. Definitely the LX models, I cannot recall what the LE models...

Re: The Volkswagen up! as a viable city car choice

So from a couple of thousand km's per month to only a few per week.

Did very well doing the daily commute, and now doing great on the weekly run to Spar.

Insurance cost also came down a lot...

I've invested in some pretty darn goof tinfoil. I make my own tinfoil hats.

  10. Re: Potch Military Base: rumours of large scale military training

I think it is just one. From where I sit and work in the dining room, I can see it coming in to land. Almost sure it's just one.

Some people complain, but I actually enjoy the sound.
  11. Re: Potch Military Base: rumours of large scale military training

There is a Grippen at Waterkloof AFB at the moment providing background noise to my Skype meetings.

Not a bad sight, can see it taking off every now and then.
  12. Re: Potch Military Base: rumours of large scale military training

I stay next to the base. Yes there were 13 landings, but it was the same one. Took off, circled around and landed again.
  13. Re: Potch Military Base: rumours of large scale military training

I phoned a school friend who is a prosecutor in the SA Army based in Potchefstroom.

Base is busy, but he recons mostly due to lockdown support.

If it doesn't comply with lockdown regulations you won't be able to add to cart. If in stock and able to order you should be fine.

As a rule I only try and purchase items at Takealot. Items...

Just check if it is in stock in CPT or JHB.

We've ordered a few essentials from them during lockdown (level 4 and level 5).

All deliveries were within 2 days. Even processed a return successful...

I love my 250, even if it is the 85kw. It's genuinly a gem of a motor. The 100kw will be even better.

    You can't go wrong :)

Like I said, the 300 is a great engine. Loved the time in my brothers 300.

But, I've got a funny feeling I will be driving a 250 X-Rider Auto by the end of the year.

    Re: Kb250 vs kb300

In your budget I will go for the 250. The 300 in that range are either a bit older or quite high mileage. But as giolanman pointed out there are some decent 250's in that range out there.

    Like I...
