    Its quite strange that if you phone a company specializing in these vfds like zest they have never heard of a 380v vfd. 380v in 380v out yes but not 240v in 380v out.

    On banggood the same looking item ,Im sure its the same is R1076. Is that a better bet. Ive seen a review of this specific one and it seems okay. Branded as minileaf or toptach.

    Good question. I never seem to find a markie that works or lasts. Typex might work. It also depends what type of steelwork you are doing. On clean metal I use lay out blue in a can.

    You have misunderstood me. Wish has an inverter for R790 .00.Sounds too cheap.By the way his lathe is an emco super ll. Far superior to any emco vp 10 which has powered crossfeed. ;D

    The kwikot probe is generally epoxied to the flange . I dont know if the heattech probe is the same . Does your probe slide into the element pocket ?

    Try a seperate thermometer. I suspect the probe is reading water in a different area and the stratification hasnt taken place yet. Try putting the timer on for longer .Is it set at max?
