I have tried to start my Hilux 3.0 D4D with a new, fully charged 105Ah deep cycle. It simply does not deliver the required CCA (Cold Cranking Amps) required by the starter.
    So stick with a 'normal'...

I can recommend Ulimate Routes from recent personal experience. Excellent professional service. They have basically taken over that market after Tara left.

The real reason it is useless us that it cools to ambient minus 10 or something.

Re: Trickle charge for Overlanding fridge

You will be able to connect a larger solar panel, but with a max Amp output LESS than 6A. Probably around 90W, but check the specs first.

    Hope you manage.

    Kudus,

I am surprised that Bushpower offered this solution for your requirements, if that is what you communicated with them.

Re: Load shedding and caravans or trailers!

Caravans normally have lots of roof space for solar panels, or you can carry portable panels (lots of space on/under the bed). All that is required is a solar charge controller and perhaps a small...
