    That midday traffic is what really gets me in Capetown, its like there's a permanent rush hour, some roads have that till almost 7pm everyday. The M3 going through Newlands is a good example.

    First one to check is the tension on the Ac belt, if that's fine then start checking elsewhere but that is a common issue for belt screech related to the Ac.

    Considering how most people never change gearbox oil from factory I'd start with changing it, it's a pretty easy job as car maintenance goes, normally the only real fiddle is getting the new oil in....
