As I've had a few requests for it, I'm opening this up to other countries; Bots, Nam, Zim, Zam, Moz

You can submit campsites as normal, I just added a country selection...

    Re: Mapungubwe area bush camping

I had a question on my channel; which road to Mapungubwe is better coming from JHB/PTA; via Alldays (R521) or Musina (via N1 Louis Trichardt)? I only went via Alldays and the last stretch between...

    Re: Mapungubwe area bush camping

Ablutions are basic and need a little TLC (nothing hectic).

Definitely a little far for a weekend. Good stopover for Tuli block or Mapungubwe but it's also nice enough for a standalone trip.

My next campsite review in this series; Molope camp in Blouberg Nature Reserve

It was only a stopover (two nights) so I'm definitely going back for a longer stay,...

    Re: Mapungubwe area bush camping

Nope. Donkey at the bush camp wasn't working well (cold-lukewarm). There's a power outlet (for cell phone charging) and light at the scullery, wasn't working first evening. Light fixed second, power...

    Re: Fortuner recovery points

The forward facing ones that are welded to the chassis are only "recovery" in the sense of towing, not recovery as in snatching hence why I say I'm not comfortable using them. I don't have a bull bar...

    Re: Fortuner recovery points

If there aren't any, how do you recover from the front; use both OE recovery points with a bridal (I really don't like that idea btw)?

Re: So who is going camping this weekend?

Willem's Rus is always best just to phone, don't bother with email

Define "close to JHB", how many hours' drive?

Otherwise, Somabula maybe (don't know if you'll get space).

    Have a look here...
