Re: Jeep Wj 4.7 downstream 02 sensor

Decat done ages ago. No real issues, some codes pop up but nothing serious. They dissappear after 3 restarts.

Would also be interested in replacing O2 sensors at some point.

General rule is 50/50 but check the coolant for ratios. Water is better at cooling, but coolant is better at protecting your engine as already stated.

Re: Driving an automatic. Any general advice?

Thanks, so ties in with what some guys on internet was saying. Don't use overdrive except when towing and hitting uphills / downhills.

Any comments regarding the overdrive button?
Manual says to use while towing. Internet is divided on how to use.
From not at all to always when towing and everything in between.

Re: 2002 Grand Cherokee V8 any good?

I have a 2004 WJ Overland with the HO motor, 150k km on the clock. That price of R99k is too much. I bought mine in 2014 for R105k with 93k km on the clock. If I sell now I would be VERY lucky to get...

Re: WJ Jeep Indicators Not Working: A Solution

I had the issue last year. I had the relay replaced (American SUV had spares). Still have the old one (original Mopar part). Will open it up and have a look, worthwhile to fix and have a backup.

    Cherokee Re: Rear Diff

First check the oil level. Then find where it is leaking from. For my WJ we use Castrol Syntrax 75/140 (already has friction modifiers). Replacing oil (and fixing leak) could solve problem.
