    Those engines are notoriously reliable.
    My SWB has 430 000 kms and runs like a new one.

    Oil pressure sensor leaking oil. If not replaced yet, do so, it is cheap. ...

    The problem is when you are alone somewhere between Nowhere and NÍrens, and your battery is flat - how do you charge the capacitors?

    I am still amazed that such a small piece of kit carries such a punch.

    Nobody commented on the Adendorff unit which works on capacitor technology.
