    Re: Lockdown Birding

From about day 3, daily, we have a family of 4 what looks like green / ringneck parakeets. I've never seen them before, maybe it's because everything is quiet, almost zero vehicles and disruptions in...

    Re: 2010 Triton Price please

The kms are normal if it was a 2nd vehicle and used for leisure. I can't comment on the trade or retail, however the 3.2's tend to keep value well due to it being a 3.2

  6. Re: Impressed with China Pure Sine Wave Inverter

I should have gone this route a while back, I really love that I literally don't feel load shedding anymore. Unless I have to take a cold shower if they keep the power off for more than a day ;D

  9. Re: Impressed with China Pure Sine Wave Inverter

I can't see how that 7a charger will keep that 105ah charged sufficiently if we have 2 or 3 sessions of load shedding per day, going from what my Victron is doing and indicating. But from your...
  10. Re: Impressed with China Pure Sine Wave Inverter

okay no wait ... the fans on the inverter aren't annoying, it's unbearable in the office. I was hoping the inverter's fans would only come on during a 500W+ load, but nope ... it feels the need to...

    R8000

But as mentioned, it's a bit overkill for my use, hence I since connected my fridge (which i'm pleasantly surprised at its efficiency), and still the equipment is idle-ling. At least it...
  14. Re: Impressed with China Pure Sine Wave Inverter

Mine is 60kg ... not a big issue, unless you plan on moving it daily ;D

I moved mine upstairs to the office this morning, I nearly popped a vain and shat myself at the same time

  17. Re: Impressed with China Pure Sine Wave Inverter

Excellent thanks, will go and read up. The charger is connected via an app to my phone, so it constantly measures volts and current, so no meters required. I'm fancy like that ;D

  20. Re: Impressed with China Pure Sine Wave Inverter

    I have a 20A Victron, it's idle-ling on my system. NOW, I don't know if it's because the battery is also idle-ling? (200AH Gel) ;D

All I know is, this week we've had load shedding from 11-13.30 &...

  23. Re: Impressed with China Pure Sine Wave Inverter

Just another question, why would my 20Amp charger only be charging at 9.7-10.1 amp according to the Victron app? It's on bulk charge, should be pushing 20amp no?
  24. Re: Impressed with China Pure Sine Wave Inverter

My dad did his Gen3 3.2 with 141k on the clock roughly a month ago at Arnold. Dyno showed 127 torque's more at 2500rpm on the wheels which is slap bam on the money when...

Re: Hi there! First question already.

If you don't mind the fuel consumption on the V6, you'll probably find one with in your kms and price range. I think the 3.2 you'll probably have more than 200kms on the vehicle in your price bracket.
