    Re: Home DIY

    Is it a movement joint?
If not, Profill. Try to finish it off as much as possible. Hard to sand when dry, but bloody strong and will tolerate a little movement.

Re: National luna support: Thumbs up

Indeed. Since the Snomaster stays in the bakkie all the time, I had the scenario (it would have been a reality during May, if not for Corona) in mind where you may be out all day driving, but also...

Re: National luna support: Thumbs up

It was really a silly question with an obvious answer. But the manual is not clear on this and I needed some confirmation. So below a copy of the email conversation - in reverse order.

    Good day

    National luna support: Thumbs up

I had a question or two regarding the NLDC25 and thought I might try NL Support services. Although I am not surprised that they are "open", it gives me even more confidence in their product when I...

I am also curious about this. Anybody care to enlighten me?

Not the smoking (that I stopped 20 years ago) :), but the one about not driving a diesel until it is (almost) empty.

    Re: Kgalagadi visit

Tobie, ek was ook vir Mei bespreek, maar het besluit om na Oktober te skuif. Het baie maklik, en nog beter, plekke gekry. Maar dit het ek reeds Maandag gedoen, dit lyk dalk nou anders. Sterkte.

    Sticky: Re: Electrickery for camping

You also need a fuse on your solar panel, as well as on your aux battery. I only mention this since you have shown one on your primary battery.

Re: Canopy : Rhinoman or RSI??

Het jy 'n "vent" laat insit? Dit is amper onontbeerlik as jy stofpad wil ry - vir positiewe druk binne die kappie. En dan moet jy natuurlik ook 'n "dust kit" op jou agterflap sit. Seikel s'n werk...

    Re: MDF Varnish Problem

How wide spread is the problem, only a few localized spots, or all over the board?
Both side or only one side?
Any chance that the board was contaminated after the first coat? From rat's pee to...

    Re: MDF Varnish Problem

Is that the first or the second coat? The board is not darkened, so it looks like the first coat?

If it is the first coat, then maybe something incompatible (such as silicon) was spilt on it?

  23. Re: Please post Pics of your DIY workbench (WOOD)

Not good for your car keys ;D

Just as acceptable as any of the other "newer" fixing techniques, like biscuits, etc.
All of them have a place/application most suitable.
  24. Re: Please post Pics of your DIY workbench (WOOD)

You can sommer use your corona virus face mask when cutting that supawood. Real ugly and tons of it, if you do not have some extraction.:)
