    Re: Which tyre jack.

Get a 2 or 3 stage bottle jack to overcome the above problem. I got one from Midas a few years back

Re: Elephants dying in huge numbers ?

The way I understood the "starvation" was that as their natural food gets less they are forced to eat less desirable food, which could include toxins.

Re: Elephants dying in huge numbers ?

"Claim"? There is plenty of evidence from experts proving the excess of ellies in this area. It's pretty clear to amateurs as well looking at the destruction of the natural habitat by them. ...

    Re: Camping Shower and Pump

I would be more worried about damage while lugging the can around in the campsite, or it accidentally falling over. But it is a nice simple concept, and you can also heat up your water by placing...

    Re: Camping Shower and Pump

Very nice. For flow rate, add an inline valve - not sure if Gardina has one?

I would also add protection for your tyre valves - they are bound to get damaged sticking out the side.

    Re: Camp shower

Ok thanks. That's why I do not like these fancy showers - you have little control of how much water you use and by the time the water temperature is adjusted, you have already wasted some water. ...

    Re: Camp shower

Just a question: The heading is "Camp Shower", but you are talking about 6l/min shower, with even a higher flow rate if you add extra cold water for temperature control.

    Is this for camping? If...

Re: Heating a tent when off the grid camping

Our EasyAwn RTT was perfect in winter, even in sub-zero temperatures. The window flaps were not opened, and it was quite cosy inside, especially after putting a bottle or two of hot water, heated...

Streaming in low res is about 2Mbps, give or take. That equates to 900MB/hr, just under 1GB. What are you paying for mobile data per GB?

It's the voltage which kills - keep the total panel Voc voltage to less than the max rating of the controller.

But the controller should not blow if your panels are within the voltage spec, but...

Re: Elephants dying in huge numbers ?

Some dispute this, saying that the elephants did not die of hunger. This might be true. But their hunger might force them to eat something poisonous.

  22. Re: Bedford Autovilla - Nice or not?? Anyone has one??

Tx. The campsite looks nice - I've only been up to the entrance, never inside.
