    Seems the axle leak was a false alarm. All gone now after some driving...

    That said, we took the testing up notch by notch pushing it harder and harder, stopping in between to see if all is still...

    Today was some more intense testing. I had Cobus run the car around the blocks for more than an hour.

    All issue is that the front diff oil leaks badly through the balls. Seems we might have missed...

    Nope. No Start yet.

    We had to trace some pipes and the previous owner messed around at the fuel filter.

    We only get flow on the LP side of the pump.

    Today I will get Cobus to remove the fuel...

    Almost there.

    Yesterday everything was filled up.

    Fuel pump runs, Motor swings, but no fire yet.

    Battery on charge over night.

    Lets see today.

    The challenge is to get a box with the correct inlet and outlet orientation for the mounting position.

    But yes, generally the round filters are all Donaldson concepts. Works the same way.

    We had another nasty setback. A well known used parts supplier have send me two full sets of radiator/AC condenser/intercooler.

    Of course. But it depends on the product you use.

    Some formulations "boils" out a snotty layer that almost looks like caramel and then it slips on it's own grease.

    Others sort of dry out and...

    Read the material safety data sheets.

    The products are both bitumen based. All it does it dampen the metallic sound from the bare sheet metal. It has little to none sound absorption capacity.

    According to the oaks who are serious about sound proofing of vehicles, the product I have used is near exact to the ones branded for automotive use.
