I should have done the same mod when Sean overhauled the gearbox on Siouxsie. With all the travel she now gets with all swaybars removed she doesn't like that rubber bit.

Does anyone here have a viscous fan for a Disco 1 V8 lying around that still works? I need one quite urgently.

I destroyed that rubber in 8 months flat. I now try not to do silly things that will destroy it so quickly.

The great thing is that you can rebuild everything on the chassis and motor with the body off. No real chances of to many bloody knuckles.
