Kestrel Wind - Part of Eveready. If you on the N2 East look on their building, they have some installed there.

    Re: Solar geyser and TV/WiFi

You connect it permanently between the Unify and mains, you can then also remove the POE adaptor as this unit does POE as well, I power my Mikrotik POE AP with one, run time is just shy of 5 hours.

Re: Testing a Diesel Engine's Health.........??

My D3 had oil analysis check done by LandyWorx, results came back that it was in perfect condition, engine went about 6 months later, so I am not sure how much value one can attach to that?

2004/2005 the GS Spec was R366,000 list price, I bought the last GS on the floor in PE when the D3 was launched.

(And it is probably the vehicle I miss the most!)

Re: 2014 Navara D40 - Scary Brake Experience

I've also realised that the brakes on the D40 needs an upgrade, still need to do it. After a bit of spirited driving with hard braking the brakes fades a lot.

  18. Re: Filling station put paraffin in my car. What do I do?

Problem here is the amount of time that has gone by since the fill up, you will face the almost impossible task of proving that it is their fault.

There is more info somewhere on the forum, we looked into this many years ago. There is a dirt road that goes to Alexandria, but I cannot remember the status of that road.

  24. Re: Help! Yamaha 70 not starting - electrical problem

Yes that is correct, pink for the temp alarm. We did unplug it to test, does not help, next check will be the microswitch, but if I am right you can disable that at the top.

  26. Re: Help! Yamaha 70 not starting - electrical problem

No, will need to find that one, according to the common wiring chart I have it should be the striped black/yellow one.
  27. Re: Help! Yamaha 70 not starting - electrical problem

Thanks that is something I did not think off! I should be able to disconnect that from the starter, busy reading the manual now.
  28. Re: Help! Yamaha 70 not starting - electrical problem

OK this gives me something more to do thanks.
  29. Re: Help! Yamaha 70 not starting - electrical problem

    Battery is new.
  30. Re: Help! Yamaha 70 not starting - electrical problem

Only aware of one fuse, checked and it is fine. Replaced the solenoid, no difference.
  31. Re: Help! Yamaha 70 not starting - electrical problem

Jumping the solenoid starts the engine fine, and it runs fine, this must be electrical or connectivity. (Turn the key and it is dead, no click from solenoid, nothing)
  32. Re: Help! Yamaha 70 not starting - electrical problem

    Oil is fine, almost full.
    Checked the fuses all fine.

Next thing to check is the actual key unit, I have a spare one to fit.
