  1. Front , rear or twin locked? Good video

The age old debate. I've always been of the opinion that a front locker should go in first and have actually done so on one open diff vehicle I had. On my Patrol I have a factory fitted rear locker...

Re: Post a Photo of your Camping Setup

Ubbo, that looks fantastic! Have you documented your build? Maybe do a separate thread on that? I think it will be interesting to many.

  6. Re: Best A/T tyres for Landcruiser 200

    Pirelli Scorpion then IMHO
  7. Re: Best A/T tyres for Landcruiser 200

I like my BF Goodridge, but for your specific requirements I'd recommend Pirelli Scorpion A/T or Michelin LTX. With both I had very good results if heavy off road work is not required.

    Re: My 105 'build' thread

I'm thinking out loud here. For valve stem seals to leak, the pressure must first escape past a valve. So if you have a leaking valve stem seal on a leak down test, you must have a leaking valve.

  17. Re: Help Please - indy for Golf GTI Cape Town

Is it not the EA888 motor?

I was under the impression in 2.0l form in the GTi they always had a chain. Something new learnt!
  18. Re: Help Please - indy for Golf GTI Cape Town

I'll second Ferroli's but just keep in mind that replacing that chain is a big job. It won't come cheap no matter who does the job.

    Re: New 2021 Prado with D4D 2.8 not GD6

It is the new uprated 2.8 motor with 150 kW. Same as the upgraded Fortuner and Hilux. D4D is just a Toyota acronym.
