    I normally monitor my compressor by touch. As soon as I cannot touch it, I let it cool off. So yes it does take a while but I have never lost a compressor. We normally plan it with a stop to eat etc.

    Had virtually identical experience. I think it depends which way the sidewall collapses as tyre deflates (one inwards, the other outwards).

    I would not stress on the low temp "W" spec. A 10W or lower 0W will be fine. Just make sure the other specs (ACEA C4) match up.
