    1st gear is equivalent to LR going forward.

    No LR in reverse

    No low range on the auto... 1st gear is very low - acts as LR, but not like that in reverse

    You never get back what you put into a vehicle...

    Also, Unimog is pretty much a niche vehicle. You need the right person with the right bank account to want a restored Mog.

    I've read on here that insurance could refuse to pay a claim in the future due to previous damage not declared to them.

    I might be wrong, just something I read once
