    Re: Inexpensive bakkie slider

Well done on the build. Just a hint. Remove all the wood parts again and preserve it with wood doc, not just a normal varnish. You want the the wood doc to sink in so as to have many years usage out...

Download base camp onto a computer, plot your destination on there then upload to your Garmin device. A wrong spelling can lead you to a new destination [emoji23]

Grand Cherokee Re: Pipes for Windscreen Nozzles (WK)

Phoned an Isuzu agent for that small clear pvc pipe for the Isuzu windscreen nozzle, was told its expensive, best go to a fish pet shop and buy normal air pipe.

Fuel gage strange ongoing Kb 250d 2003 le

I would just use silicon spray but not an expert.

Old days to keep window wipers and window rubbers soft and not drying out. You would place car in hot sun, wipe the wipers clean, smear with...

Re: How many and big pots

Flat cast iron pot can also be used to make a potjie, fry eggs and bacon etc. I would just take a flat bottom cast iron pot, fry pan and another normal pot.

Re: Hammock camping with a Jimny

I wouldn't bee keen on adding so much side strain on a roof rack regardless how well it's build, the holding brackets would take a hellva lot of undesigned strain. You don't want to have a partner...

Re: Isuxu 2006 LX Diesel Pump

It's sounds like that anti hijack black box at back of pump is your problem. My bakkie would start and engine check light would come on. I have now serviced pump and bypassed fuel cut off solinoid.
