    Niela I am not a Land Rover fan and have no dog in this fight. Of course the old model will have some things which it are better at, but the new model are better in a lot more criteria than the old...

    No experience with Seikel, but as far as I can tell from reports they are very good. But a lot more expensive than the Mikem option for example.
    But I think only Seikel is approved by VW so if still...

    Unfortunately they don't show the boundaries of conservation area etc on the site but i as far as I can tell form the image the fires were west of Makgadigadi.

    For sure.. African savannas developed with the presence of fires into what it is. It is a critical part of maintaining savannas and grasslands.

    You can use either. There is normally not an issue on any of those roads or towns except during service protests, then they get blocked completely.
