    Andrew I will see what I can do. I know of a few wrecks. Not sure if there are still doors left on them.

    Definitely not a dry area. There should be an oil port or squirter somewhere.
    Might be oil pump failure. Check out the rest of the engine

    I have found the more you use the diff locks the quicker they act.
    Best and safest to lock the front hubs manually. The auto locking does not fully engage the locking mechanism.

    Rebuild kits is between 4 and R5k. Add labour and you will be close to 9k. There are very few I trust in rebuilding gearboxes in SA.

    Delo 400 with its additives is about the only oil left to run in old v8 engines. We have three Yank v8`s in the family.
    Many km`s covered on them. All of them on Delo 400.
