    So true George! My best items are still two regular coffee mugs that live in a modified pringles tin (tube) which keeps them from breaking. Coffee from them tastes much better than from a SS cup.

    If in ref to Jaffel Iron, we use a "Spray and Cook" spray on the Iron before heating it up and then a bit of butter or marg on the outside of each one. Works a treat.

    Some good tips in this tread, thanks. One of the things we always pack is a jaffel iron, nothing quite like a braai leftovers jaffel for lunch the next day and quick to make.
