    Re: Numbi Gate Road

We were caught short of time in the area in mid December and had to use Numbi to get out of Kruger on a Friday afternoon. That road is a the main highway into Dante's Inferno. Traffic, drunk...

    Re: Molteno?

Actually visited there a few times for work, have a client factory there. Ain't no metropolis, that's for sure, but if you're an outdoors guy, plenty to do.

    Re: Gate automation - Durban

You're the second person to recommend him. I've had a recommendation close to home, if it doesn't work out I'll definitely give Kevin a call. Thanks for the reply

    Re: Gate automation - Durban

Sadly they were one of the "utter chops" that wandered by. They basically refused to pick up a job handed them on a plate.

    Gate automation - Durban

Hi all - looking for recommendations for gate automation and garage doors in Durban North. Had a series of utter chops come through, either do a half job, or don't even bother pitching/quoting after...

Re: Purchase Bush Lapa in Zimbabwe?

I would get hold of BushLapa themselves. They are likely to have done this before in Zim, but failing that they do export to Aus and the like, they'll know the ropes and probably organise all the...
  8. Re: Why we hugely regret buying used from Bush Lapa Gauteng North

Well, that looks as if the sales of the used BLs have been lazy enough to just use documents meant for new BLs. They've sold you a new BL that someone used before you. "But surely .... "
  9. Re: Why we hugely regret buying used from Bush Lapa Gauteng North

The wear and tear comment was not aimed at wear and tear after delivery but cumulative wear and tear from the last 5 years, where I'd be surprised it is was not excluded in the sales contract. Let's...
  10. Re: Why we hugely regret buying used from Bush Lapa Gauteng North

5 years old on a vehicle meant to be used under extreme conditions. The sales conditions would be interesting, but Caveat Emptor springs to mind. I'm sure everyone hopes that the sales agent bends...
  11. Re: Why we hugely regret buying used from Bush Lapa Gauteng North

Do you have any history on the van, previous owner perhaps, find out why they sold, it'll probably shed quite a lot of light on the discussion. This many problems suggests a prior history.

Cruze is the most uncomfortable car I have ever driven, closely followed by the Honda Amaze.

    Re: Is it possible to

Perhaps, but they have dropped caravans from cranes, dropped things onto caravans from cranes, dropped cars they don't like onto caravans that they hate. Vulgar was their trademark, clever wasn't on...

Wild Dog were one of my top 3 for bumpers on my proposed replacement (once current new vehicle shortages have eased). Suddenly they're at number 3. Hope you come right.

    Re: Kzn gtg 2022

    Re: Booster Cable Amps?

Key point made right here. Even if they're just for the overland trips, good idea. For your plattie around town the Midas 600amp (whatever the actual rating) is going to do you fine, no need to...

Re: Those who said, electric vehicle, NEVER!

I'd love to consider it, but at around R2 million for a base Model 3, utterly unaffordable. Going to need the government to make it tax and duty exempt before it's even a passing fantasy. That's...
