    Gutting the CAT made no difference. Maybe a tad more mid range punch but it could be my imagination.

    Maybe I must just take the lead out of my foot to get better economy figures.

    The CCA is the power rating of the battery.

    The Ah is how long it can supply power. Ie, it can supply 90amps for an hour but doing that is not recommended.

    Daai VR6 maak torque laag. Mens dink dis n diesel as hy trek en dan as die revs klim raak dit net lekkerder.

    Nee wat, daai vr6 is als behalwe pap. Hy maak goed krag. Self op lae revs.

    I maintain a VR6 treg like that.

    That engine is a gem. Frugal when driven sedately and lots of power when needed but as with any high powered SUV, you have to feed the horses if you use them.

    Modern VW PS pumps are sensitive to the fluid spec. What fluid did you use? Generally you need the white bottle with green cap from Goldwagen. NOT ATF!

    Your info may be correct that most of the cracked pistons are from bad injectors. But perhaps not all. I was merely giving a different optional scenario.

    I would tee into the reservoirs and find a proper pump.

    You can not pump back via seat connection. The valveblock wont allow it.

    Keep the schrader valves as an extra safety.

    You need to access the gearbox ecu and splice into a wire on the harnass.

    The rest is simple but time consuming to route wires etc.

    I suppose 2wd with low range transfer case not locked, is cheaper than 4wd low with center diff and transfer case.

    I would be very careful with 2wd low.

    Having all that power going to one axle is an invitation to break something.
