    Today and over the past week
    - Fitted a new tyre. Other 3 are still fairly new.
    - Got a interior valet, so he is looking good as new inside.
    - New brakes & sensors fitted at LRX

    Thanks. Never knew it might cause slippage. I am pretty sure mine has never been changed. Didnt find anything in the service history.

    I have heard British4x4 has Dr Tranny Fix.

    My D3 is also close to 200k km, and i want to do the exact same thing next month. Zf service and dr tranny fix.

    From what i have seen as well is that rock crawl keeps the rear diff on a very high alert for any slip. Locking much quicker than in other modes.

    They really give a great look to the D3. Its going to be SWAMBO's daily drive, so i am probably going to go AT, but i nice aggressive looking one. Thats why i like the Bravo 980

    Let us know how they are. I am in the market for tyres in a month or 2. Either looking at the GY Adventure or the Maxxis Bravo 980.

    Drove past a white D4 V8 SE that was on a flatbed next to the road on the N1 near Malibongwe today.

    Hope its not something major.

    At the dealers. LR Centurion ordered one and was there thr next day. R1425

    You can also look at scrap yards or british4x4, but since the old one lasted 12 years, i would rather go with a new one.

    New windshield cowl on.

    Looking great (proper black, no more faded ugly grey)

    Sealing nice and tight against the windscreen now. Quick and easy job to do.

    Parts listed is lock assembly. Luckily covered by warranty, R3k. And some change.

    Yeah, after the rain the last few days the water started coming in below the cubby hold. Think windscreen...

    Took the D3 for some tlc at LRXtreme. Service and door lock sorted.

    Still a few things to sort out in the coming months.

    Also ordered a new windshield cowl to replace the faded and leaky one on...

    Holy Hell that looks nice. I need to fit some 18" rubber on my D3 soon as well, and finding it hard to decide between AT or Muds, not to mention deciding on a brand.

    In my case, a old vehicle with lots of KM on it, SA warranties offered higher payouts at about the same cost.

    I think on the lower brackets (newer and less km's) ot might be different.

    Stupid question, but would this still be effective if i do the oil change and service at ZF and then have my indy add the DR Tranny with the next visit a week or 2 later?

    Or do they have to both...

    With regards to the LR outing, i will alao be very keen on something like that. Just a fun day with a bunch of Landys.

    We sell cars in durban has 2 x sub R100k D3 V8's. But thats a bit far.

    The midstream branxh has one for R130k, but i think thats the one you mentioned in the post above.
