    Re: VW Arteon

You can choose a different spec to make it stand out, but you need something to make it exciting. Something that, if you see an Aerton up ahead on the road, you want to get closer to see if it is not...

    Re: VW Arteon

The Aerton lacks a halo model. They need something that can toast a Golf R in a drag race. Without it, people just forget about it as an option.

And, despite all the fuel these large V8's and V10's use, it is still better for the environment to keep an old car going rather than replace it with a new one that required new steel, plastic,...

    Re: V6 questions

The kids will neither appreciate, nor respect the expensive leather seats. I suggest stick to cloth and spend the money on canvas seat covers.

Re: What have you done with your Discovery today?

That is very useful for everyday use, but can you disable or lock it when off road? You don't want it to go and rest with its belly on a rock.

Re: VW Touareg 2009 TDi V6 - yea or nay?

I would happily pay a bit more than trade for a vehicle that I can trust. Remember that it is better for the owner to sell to a dealer than a friend or acquaintance, because they then take over all...

That is a good offer for a R5 from a dealer. They probably make it up with the sale of the new(er) car.

The tow bolt is installed in the front, so it probably did not get to where it is now on its own steam.

    Yup, full house.

Watch the video Karol linked. After owning my Treg for seven years I learnt that the small cubby for the manual inside the main one is missing from mine!

    = Air suspension

That is really what set the Touareg apart originally. Without air suspension you might as well buy any other SUV.
Correct me if I am wrong, but up to the T2 (i.e. before 2012)...
