    Re: Defender 130 Overlander build

no, the plastic gets dirty inside and outside and it does look crap eventually, so why not a coloured sleeve and not clear?

    Re: Need some.info

Dana is fine these days. Interwebs spares are cheap and fast. The guys did this back in the day because Wranglers weren't available.

But nowadays, at the price of a TJ Wrangler, why bother? Just...

    Re: Need some.info

ha ha that is probably a kit car that Hein has, so the guys used either Safari or Hilux SFA chassis and cut them to length.

    Re: 1KDFTV in a 90 Prado

    I suppose not. Just curious.

The Ozzies seem to use the Mitsu 4M40 pump and injectors. Since the Japs use the same pumps, it stands to reason that you'll find some combo that works.

    All of the...

    Re: Need some.info

Yep, that was a good idea IMHO, removes all the issues with flipped transfer cases or axles and access to spares.

Re: VERY VERY Disappointed in GARMIN !!!!

    Hmmm

That is a very expensive hammer to hit a cheap nail. And most cell phones have a GPS receiver anyway, and lots of options of off-line maps.

    Correct.

Die Poort is ambiguous, where is that? Hekpoort? Roodeplaat?

Find a decent indie: Bulli is in the Silverton area and Eben is in the Moot.
