    In short. Firstly you need to check the fridge detail. What amps will be drawn by the compressor. That will determine the size of the inverter. Remember to add 1/3 extra capacity onto the inverter....

    Remove the + wire from the coil. Tape up and hide. Pull the small wire from the solenoid on the starter. If the carburettor has a cutout solenoid valve. Remove that wire as well.
