  1. Re: OpenStreetMap Topo - BaseCamp, Garmin and Android

Since my last post in Feb I sorted OSM Topo for my Garmin.
It works well and good detail on maps. Routing can be better and there are some anomalies i.e. taking one off the highway, through Witbank...

Re: Which Bluetooth OBD Scanner to choose?

Yip. Plugged a ELM327 BT into my brother's Polo. No joy. I have seen VW guys buy a OBD11 (eleven). OBD2 works fine on the Ranger, BT not WiFi.

Glad to hear and seems they sparked on this one. If the new gearbox has a "upgraded oil pump" fitted, that means all the 10Spd gearboxes has an inferior oil pump, or not?
  6. Re: Need opinion on National Luna portable battery

Rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it. I still plug my CF35 into the cigarette lighter when I drive. Option to book campsites with no power is great.

That rack looks the part and job well done! Get yourself some of this foam mat to protect the rear load area. Worked very well for me and pretty inexpensive for a whole roll.

Just returned from KNP yesterday. There is a Stop/Go on Schoemanskloof. About 5 min wait if low traffic. I passed through at 06:30. I am sure waiting time increases with amount of traffic.
