    Re: Spotlights banned

I have LED spots, only 30W. The project just as far as my normal high beams, but because they are "white", my eyes tend to strain less too.

    Re: Spotlights banned

If LED bars are illegal in SA, then Pretoria is in a different country. Here it seems a sin to NOT have a bar on your toyorra

    Roof Boxes

I'm in the market for a roof box, one that will work with the wife's car and the DC. Apart from Thule (which is double the price of others), which manufacturers would you suggest?

    Re: Panoramic openable roof

An aftermarket one can be terrible if not installed correctly .. the wind noise might drive you insane. My dad''s audi and my wife's mini had sunroofs from factory, and the wind noise was kuk on both

    Re: Would you?

Correct, services missed were under the service plan still.

I confirmed with Mitsu, they show no service record on their system for 20,30,80,90 ... their system tie's up with the book.

Re: Development of Tshwane Mega Cities

Thing is, even if it costs 100 GBP, it will still get done and look great. So I have no problem with that.

Yes, not sure why the are going to build it in the East of Pretoria, everyone in the...

    Re: Would you?

Not sure either, could only contact the previous owner, he bought it on 96000 and had it serviced every 10k

It's also strange to me. Why not take it for it's "free"services.

    I've decided to...

    Re: Would you?

Yeah, looking at the book, it did 45-50k without services, in intervals of course.

I'm also very pedantic when it comes to service history. It's the heart that's messing with my mind on this...

Would you buy a 2011, 3.2 Triton with 168000km on the clock.

Missed the 20k, 30k, 80 & 90k services. The rest are all up to date. From 100k done every 10k up until 160000

Re: Koro Koro land claim - gobsmacked

It would be, but the new owner will probably just strip the land bare from animals and tree's for fire wood. It's the African way.

Re: Koro Koro land claim - gobsmacked

How does that happen? Does this mean some guy was able to prove that his ancestors lived there and owned the ground and that the Koro Koro owners acquired (paid) for it illegally? (serious question)...

Re: Help Me Inteperate Dyno Results

Whether this 2.4 has a chip or vienna in it, it should not be as sluggish as the OP represents it to be. Certainly not sitting in a truck lane. My 2.5 Mitsu has the same KW as the Toy's 2.4, but far...

Re: Help Me Inteperate Dyno Results

Your problem is not with Toyota or 2.4 ... it lies with the word Chip.

Take it out. a standard 2.4 makes 400NM, that's ample to tow your caravan comfortably and certainly keep you out the truck...
