    Unfortunately there wasn't a recording of the accident only after the dash cam fell of the windscreen. I also never prompted the Garmin to save the video. Disappointed!

    Assessor just phoned me, damage is currently worth R92000 and repairable. If they start stripping it will most likely increase and could be a write-off.

    I would prefer it if the bakkie is written off, the downside is then I have to find a "new" one and restart payments.

    I think the Toyota has a longer warranty and service plan than the Suzuki. The Suzuki might be more expensive to service at the dealers.

    Ouch, comparing an Isuzu to a chinese bakkie. Any proof of the VW engine, I can't find anything. If it's indeed a VE engine chances are you'll be replacing the turbo in its lifetime.
