  1. Re: Need second opinions regarding panels on older caravan

    Keep looking.

    Be patient.

There are plenty vans out there and there will be one that has been looked after properly.

    Good luck

We will apply the same when I retire (again) next year.

There is also a thread "Definative Bush Camps" under this same category. Go check it out.

Also a thread "Camping within 300 km of JHB" or something like that. Very informative.

Get your wheels from Roadque in PTA. Going of just over R1000 for both. Add R200 for shipping still a bargain.

Air bag jack is fine if one wheel stays on the ground. But there is that frightening...

My van does not have the steady points that CATS refers to. This is unique that this only applied to the 2013 models.

Quite interesting and few practice shots and some luck.

    Difficult to say.

The Excel I looked was priced keenly according to my research. And it was a private sale.

I did not go for it because a bargain came up in a later model Xplorer.

68 Ah is useless. Mine got tired after 2 years and let me down a few times if I left the door open too long.

Put a 102 Ah in no more nonsense.

I think there were a few variants they marketed.
The post I did was info from an advert by a Jurgens caravan distributor.
I have also seen quite a few I described.

CATS do yourself a favour and visit Tenco showroom in Jet Park next to the N12/R21 intersection.

Everything in camping equipment is available there.

The very reason we bought a Jurgens Xplorer.

Stop, open the door, close the door, jammies on, sleep.

I do however put down the 4 steadies to help me sleep as movement does wake me easily.
  30. MediaRelease: Re: River route Xhorias to Skeleton Coast using the Haub River
