Apologies for reviving an old thread.

    Re: New S-Presso...........Nice!!!!

    Wowie.

They already had the Celerio in this bracket, and the Ignus (Bit more pricey).

Sure looks a bit more interesting than the Celerio.

Thanks for the info. Yes local Suzuki around R350 per strut bearing and R1400 per strut mount.

I must have a nice smile, my Midas asked me R 515.00 per rear shock. ;D

Thanks for the suggestions. Stofpad kit ordered.

I see what you say about the dealers, they want just under R10k just for the two front shocks. Will shop around for the KYBs.

Re: School me on fuses please

You can use the voltage, but it must be the voltage drop across the fuse, not the full system voltage. The fuse while intact does not see the full 12V or 220V or whatever across it, only the voltage...

  15. Re: 2016 Suzuki Grand Vitara 2.4 Summit - Still a good buy?

Regarding the infotainment / connectivity. It all depends on how long you want to keep the car.

IMHO if you want to keep the car a few years you DO NOT want a factory fitted infotainment system....

    Size perceptions

According to Zoopa, R113000 (R122000 if the mileage was lower).
    According to Autotrader, R119000 average.
You can also buy a transunion estimate for R10 or a full report for R99.

    So the values...

Re: Looking for Grand Vitara 3.2

    Good info thanks.

Just for interest sake, does the (2.4) GV Summit have any advantages over a 3.2? Were the changes only cosmetic? There is definitely not a shortage of nice Summits for sale.

Re: Looking for Grand Vitara 3.2

That is a complex question! It all depends on the condition!

I did not attach the handles. There are "handles" molded into the plastic that I use to carry it around. Not sure it is accessible with the jacket on though.
