  1. Re: One night stop over in Hoedspruit, where?

Just to close the loop here and maybe as future reference for someone else:

Klaserie Dam Caravan park closed their campsite and only offers tents at the moment. The campsites will re-open maybe...
  2. Re: One night stop over in Hoedspruit, where?

    Thanks everyone.

I send enquries to Moholoholo (although I don't see campsites on their website) and Klaserie Dam caravan park, two days ago. No response. So either they are out of business,...

    Re: Bush Lapa mods

Seeing where Mike lives, it is going to be a challenge. Quality inspection pre-delivery should have picked that up. :-X
  4. Re: The Volkswagen up! as a viable city car choice

For speed he has a KTM Duke :o:o:-X I would be more than happy if he rather did the speed testing in a cage. ::)
  5. Re: The Volkswagen up! as a viable city car choice

Exactly. We were anyway thinking secondhand or demo, a brand new car as a first car for a 'jong lat' does not make sense to me. ::)

    Re: Bush Lapa mods

Looking at the 3rd photo, it seems to me that the arm has kink in making it point upwards. It can be seen to a lesser degree in the second photo as well.
  7. Re: The Volkswagen up! as a viable city car choice

In the same boat. We just started sniffing around for a small car for my son for next year. Although, personally I am not mad about the looks of the Up, on paper it seems like a really good car and...

Re: Pretoria - Heavy Duty Canvas Places

Best to contact him soonest. He is very, very busy and normally booked full quite a few weeks ahead. But he will always help and his work is really top class. Guess that is why he is so busy. :)8-)

  10. One night stop over in Hoedspruit, where?

I am looking for a one night camping stop over in the Hoedspruit area for December. I thought we can do a one nighter at Swadini, but minimum stay in that period is 4 nights. Don't want to do that....

Re: Ons nuwe ryhuis in wording.....

Correct, the door opens fully and in post #234 and #235 the two stoppers which lock into each other to keep the door open can be seen clearly. Clever, but oom Sarel and Elize has been doing this...

Kgalagadi lodge, 5km from TR gate also sells wood. Maybe they would accept an order.

I did not even know about that interchange, I have not been on the N4 toward Witbank for quite a few months. It certainly does not help for the congestion on roads like Solomon Mahlangu, Lynwood and...

Sjoe, now the task of getting the shop up and running in some way for December holiday. And it is was one of the nicest camp shops.

Luckily, again.... Bronberg Envirowaste does our refuse removal. They always pitch. The refuse piling up is shocking though, I saw photos and with my own eyes in Faerie Glen.

  22. Re: Doors or canvas with zips for caravan cupboards?

I am not familiar with your caravan's layout, so this is a bit of blind comment.

The canvas 'doors' on the clothes shelves in the BL work brilliantly for me. The opening flap has 2 pieces of...

Re: The mighty new 2021 Fortuner

I did not need to see that. Eish tempting even though it is a D4d. But that is a good discount for a very acceptable vehicle. For me anyway, sure the fault finders will find a fault. ::)

Re: Taking our SOHO off grid
