Does Ford use the Bose system? In any case, the technology would be similar. From https://www.caradvice.com.au/897714/how-noise-cancellation-in-cars-actually-works/

    Re: My FJ buying experience

It is really funny: the target group of the FJ design were younger guys, like in their late 20s - early 30s. Dynamic surfer type, before they start a family.
Here this forum is full of guys well...

    Re: Bush Caravan Sway

Increasing the length of the coupler would increase the "arm" and make the tow ball weight lighter.

What you want is more weight on the tow ball. I think there is a combination of factors...

    Re: 79 DC 1HZ vs V6

Seeing that you are planning on keeping the LC for a long time at work and for yourself afterwards, wouldn't the financing of the V8 make sense? You said you did consider the 1GR-FE. It would be 260k...

    Re: Atrac vs Trc

If it does have Atrac, there should be a button for it. It only activates when the button is pressed, you are in 4LO and at very low speeds.
The difference between Atrac and TRC is, that TRC will...

Emmie, have you tried any other steel flasks of similar shape?

As Skylark says, there are several differently branded ones out there, which seem very similar.

    Re: New tyres for Touareg

Just be aware that the mileage people get on the GY Wranglers also differs quite a bit. It seems it's anything from around 50k to nearly 100k km. I guess it depends on driving style and vehicle...

Re: When is a charge regarded as a cycle?

With lithium batteries a cycle counts as fully charging an empty battery.
If you charge a partially discharged battery, e.g. the battery is down to 50% and you charge it to 100%, that would count as...

Re: Suspension question on Ford Ranger

In this case he should get either a new set of springs or a good 2nd hand set. Don't try to have the old, flat springs fixed. It's not worth it.
    Then add the LoadHog.

Re: 2 Different tyre sizes on 4X4

Even if there is a centre differential, 2 different tyre sizes front and back aren't good for that either in the long run.

Same as on my old Cruiser. And re-shaping the old spring blades would only last a few months anyway, they loose tension pretty quickly.

    Re: My FJ buying experience

Re: 3.2 GV, would you buy it?

    Re: My FJ buying experience

Remember, the Hilux, Fortuner and 70 series got the single VVT-I engine that makes some 176(?) KW. Your FJ got the dual VVT-i 202 KW motor, like the Prado 150, but is a good 300 kg lighter.
