    6L Apple Juice,
    5L Water
    500g Blackstrap molasses
    And a cup molasses sticky brown sugar.
    and about 4g Dry Bread yeast.

    Boiled all of it and added the yeast at 36 degrees.

    You are looking at the 6V mode rating.
    In 12V mode it's meant to only charge batteries up to 120Ah output is 2.8A.
    In 6V mode 4A output.

    I think you made a good remark (Maybe I'm also doff ;D)
    But you don't necessarily need an old type transformer to convert 220V to 12v though. Look at a PC PSU It still has some transformers in them...
