    Re: Land Cruiser 76 Services

I pick a weekend and do the services myself. Really not difficult. Buy the complete service lit from Toyota. The most difficult part is replacing the seals and repacking the hubs.

    The only...

    Re: Uitenhage to J'Bay - R334

;D And you can even throw in a detour to the Gamtoos River mouth and then a meander back to the single lane bridge all along the river. (And maybe even a spot of fishing while you're there ;D)

    Re: Uitenhage to J'Bay - R334

I would personally stay on the R344 which, after it reaches the N2, becomes the R102. It takes you down the Van Stadens Pass, over the old bridge where you have a view of the N2 Bridge from below,...

Grand Cherokee Re: Pipes for Windscreen Nozzles (WK)

So, will it not work to have an adapter that looks like the end of the existing pipe on the one side, and the other side a normal solid piece that you could slide the new pipe over?

    How many...

Grand Cherokee Re: Pipes for Windscreen Nozzles (WK)

@Grubbypaws, what size is the hole in the nozzle for the pipe? I might have a solution for you.

Oh, and the OD and ID of the replacement pipe you have.

Grand Cherokee Re: Pipes for Windscreen Nozzles (WK)

Warm the pipe up before attaching it to the nozzle. (Place the end in the boiling water for about 30 seconds.) Then, while it is still warm, zip a small cable tie around it.

    Re: Stuck injector

Always remember that you get what you pay for. No use buying a cheap tool if it is going to damage the injector anyway. Then you are down the cost of the tool AND new injector.

Sounds more like aluminium wire. Copper will normally end up green as it oxidizes.

    Re: Warning battery charger cables

9 times out of 10 these short out because they are left dangling in the engine compartment. They eventually chafe through and then it is just a matter of time before there is a hole in the...

The LED lights on your BMW are not fog lights...

And fog lights have yellow lenses, not orange (Amber)

It may be cheaper to take it to someone that does hydroblasting. Basically the blasting media mixed with water. Not only is it cleaner but there is very little chance of warping the larger panels...

These are mostly fitted to the Dual Sport bikes that ride gravel roads. Where a normal light disappears in the dust, the orange actually penetrates and shines through it, making the bike visible,...

  25. Re: V8 70 series snorkel and exhaust upgrade stats?

What you could of course do, is place a fender washer on either side of the hole with the appropriate sealer in place, and then use a Rivnut through all 3 layers.
