    Agree, copper goes black or green when oxidised. This sounds like aluminium bronze which looks like copper, but corrodes like alu.

    And there lies your issue. Like I said, you need a massive puller, a heat gun and penetrating spray oil of sorts. The rust in the splines is keeping it together.

    It appears in all the photos that this pipe is rubbed through at the location of the yellow circle. Replace it. For that matter replace all your vacuum lines. It is cheap elimination.

    Will only really help within a small amount of vertical and rotational axle travel. This axle travels a LOT. I always have an argument when I am asked to drive onto these low lifts at a tyre place....

    Yep. He did the original new UJs which lasted 800 km. Then replaced these at his cost. When I asked why they do not last, the answer was simply that what they install is not the same quality as OEM....

    That is a major job on this Paj. I had a look yesterday. I will rather spend the time to fit DC joints. Then I know the issue will be gone.

    Both propshafts were removed, yoke alignment checked on a PLC controlled propshaft lathe and balanced again on my insistence. That was after lockdown moved to level 3.

    Yes, as per above. So much so that the oil seals in the TC are leaking and the bearings in the TC are worn.

    Double trouble. I am sick with some stomach bug thing and the Pajero's driveshafts needs to be fixed as you can read here.

    So it is between bed and crawling below the Pajero! No lathe work.
