    Re: Isuzu 1993?

If it's licensed for the road, then it will be on your license paper. If not, then look in engine bay for tag or follow Jelo's advice.

  13. Re: Beware of 4x2s that pretend to be offroad capable.

I plan for worst and hope for the best. As per other thread, some 4x4ers don't help other 4x4ers in need of assistance.
  14. Re: Beware of 4x2s that pretend to be offroad capable.

I will say this, being a 4x2 with diff lock owner, there are places and terrains one can comfortably and safely travel off the beaten track and other places and terrains one must not attempt. Knowing...

  16. Re: Beware of 4x2s that pretend to be offroad capable.

What people have not taken into consideration is tyre tread pattern

Seen 4x4's wheel spinning and getting no where, then along comes an old bakkie with good tyre pattern, deflated wheels and diff...

  23. Re: Would you help someone in distress? My story….

Yes you can, any 12v battery will do if it can get you out the dodoo. Some say it will damage a deep cycle others say it will damage a deep cycle if used constantly. A mate has his deep cycle wired...

Re: Can I run Mecer inverter permanently

As mentioned check with the manufacturer before using a MSW, that being said. I would suggest a 24v mercer system, a lot more run time if stage 4 upwards starts.
  31. Re: Remote tyre pressure monitoring system recommendations

Oh if you fit the external tyre monitors, get the short steel valves installed like on a quad bike and not the normal long rubber valves as they tend to shake a lot.
  32. Re: Remote tyre pressure monitoring system recommendations

I bought off a chap on the forum. Had them for over 6 years, they were the external type, never lost a TPS.
