Re: KNP 8 day itinerary advice

That part makes the itinerary more sensible.

Re: Vaal Dam & Vaal Barrage

You will see the Vaal Barrage let that water go at the same time the Vaal Dam got a lot of inflow, it's because the barrage is in reality a small dam (not used for drinking water anymore) and has a...

Re: Fork Tailed Drongos in South Peninsula

We have Glossy Starlings and Grey Hornbills in Pretoria, so yeah, some species ranges are definitely expanding.

For some reason, much fewer Indian Mynahs to be seen around here these days.

    Re: Stadige verkeer op hoofpaaie?

  13. Re: RV5 tent scammer at large on the 2nd hand sites

Only advice is "never ever pay a holding deposit for anything", a normal person will either say "sorry, it's already sold to someone else" or "sure, come check it at blah blah blah". The scammer is...

Re: Older Venter vs Newer CampMaster

Well, I know a Venter would nor pack what my 210 can, just due to the shape of the box. My plastic ammo boxes can fit nicely sideways down the middle with an easy up gazebo on each side on the ammo...

Re: Help need to immobilise series 3

What I did back in the day when I had to use sidewalk parking at friends place was remove the cable between the solenoid and distributor cap, stopped a few attempts at stealing my Uno.

  26. Re: Potch Military Base: rumours of large scale military training

We had to kick a tannie from the local whats group cause she was sure these circling CASA and C-130 airplanes were busy spraying us with something (this was shortly before lockdown).
