    Good question John, I think it would be wise to try and locate your temp sensor as close as possible to where the pick-up for the standard dash temp gauge is. Obviously the coolant temperature varies...

    Had a coolant leak yesterday. The Little Black Box picked it up immediately and so I was able to prevent any damage.

    Defender Mud Protection

    Made new mudflaps with 5mm rubber. Made front wheel arch inserts with 3mm rubber. The outrigger is now protected from mud.

    If you get Terrafirma, make sure they are mounted correctly. There is an explanatory pdf. on the Terrafirma website specific to vehicle type. Follow the proper instructions and you should be fine.

    Get a clutch assist spring and as Oryx mentioned, a slick shift. Have a look at the UK website Paddocks spares for descriptions and photos of these items. I would recommend getting them locally...
