I havent bothered to read all the posts on this topic, because I think the same thing has probably been said a dozen times over.

Obviously tire size will have an effect on consumption, and even...

    Re: Does Sikaflex conduct electricity

Thanks for the responses so far.

I have realised that silicone, or sikaflex for that matter isnt going to work, even if Sikaflex is not conductive.

I can individually insulate all the...

    Does Sikaflex conduct electricity

I need to set some electrical components into a housing that needs to be very robust, but also waterproof, and able to flex ever so slightly.

    Re: hardekool groot maat aankoop

Ek twyfel sterk of jy gaan regkom. Hardekool/Leadwood (combretum imberbii) is 'n "protected specie". jy mag hulle nie af sny nie, of die hout verkoop. As jy in die veld is, en jy tel n paar stukke...

Re: Un-Boring rental cars for a wedding?

Will have a look. Sounds interesting.

  8. Re: Converting a Series vehicle to permanent 4WD - advice needed

Modifiying axle tubes to work with leaf springd is pretty straightforward, and then you gain disk brakes as well.

A CW&P change to get the ratios right should also be easy enough. The 4.54 fits in...

Re: Sand tracks which won't break the bank

Those front runner mats work okay in sand, but thats about it. They arent nearlt as good as a solid track. And they are no good in mud. They become as slippery as an eel.

The maxtrax are an excellent product, and probably worth saving up for.

Sand Trax are like a winch, or a highlift jack. Most of the time they are bolted to the vehicle just to make it look good....
