    Wet Fortuner

Thatís it, pretty much exactly the case with me, it overflowed into the cabin filter opening. Hence the passenger side wetness.

    Re: Wet Fortuner

Could very well be blocked drainage under the windscreen cowl - the plastic bit between windscreen and bonnet.

I had something similar some time ago.

    Non-Stick Coating: Volcano alternative

    Hi,

Does anyone know of someone who can do a non-stick coating, much like Volcano in Boksburg, but closer to home - Randburg/Strijdompark/Wynburg?

    Thanks

If it were me, I'd seriously consider using ACP, I think it is an awesome product.
Never used it, but the principle of it is top drawer.

Re: Reliable overland Toyota for about R300k

I would say look at a V6 Hilux or Fortuner.
Should be able to pick up a 2012-2014 model with around 100kkm in your budget.
Fortuners tend to be a little cheaper/lower mileage for the same price -...

Glad it worked out for all who tried.
  14. Re: How do I change default fresh air/recirculating setting?

    Unfortunately not.
  15. Re: How do I change default fresh air/recirculating setting?

    Ok, found it.

With the vehicle running and the air on set to "fresh" air, depress he auto and off buttons simultaneously, hold them in for about 10sec, whilst switching the ignition off.

    Let...
  16. Re: How do I change default fresh air/recirculating setting?

It can be done - I've done it on mine.
Can't remember exactly how, but I've got it saved somewhere- will find it.

I have not yet followed up on TimK's recommendation yet, but would like to ask for one or two more options.

Have you wired it directly to the battery, thereby drawing constant power, or have you wired it on acc power?

Re: Trip to Cape Town Jeep vs Fiesta

For me, I would always take the larger of the two.
Probably going to be more comfortable, and possibly safer as you have more "oomf" to get past trucks and other "econo-boxes" that cant keep up.
