    WAJ: In your post you connected your modem directly to a 12 V 7 Ah gate battery using a cable shown.
    How do you determine which is the negative and positive wires going to the battery?

    Just heard there is a new outbreak of Foot and Mouth disease in Limpopo. Tests are being done to confirm this.
    So no meat from RSA to Bots for a while still it seems.

    I agree 100%, keep it simple. Just basic camping equipment, water, compressor, pressure gauge and first aid bag.
    You do not need 90% of the items displayed in the overland shops.

    We were at Mvuu a few weeks ago. Very nice camp and a good base to explore LZNP.
    But as Tony says, in the rainy season it could be a problem to explore LZNP.
    I think Mvuu should still be accessible...

    Yes no donkey carts, only ox carts, maybe an improvement.
    In some fields we also saw plows (ploughs?) being pulled by oxen. Interesting to see but not an easy life.

    I have just been to Bots through Stockpoort and back through Stockpoort on Thursday. Very easy border to go through. 10 minutes a side.
    I live in Bryanston and khama is about a 7 to max 8 hour drive...
