    Re: Liver makes you shiver

I have a very simple way.

    Onions
    cream
    Liver (cut into strips)
    fresh ground pepper

    Fry the onions.
Same pan fry the liver. But as soon as the liver looks like it is cooked, it has gone to...

Re: Atos ignition to push button

The alternative is to leave the barrel in place and just ad some trick switches. 3 way for the off-acc-on. Then a push button for start. But under the dash.

Re: Atos ignition to push button

If you want to go this route, you can strip the barrel and take out all the slides. But then any key will start the car.

I am in the same boat with an Atos. I found out and you only get a full set...
  5. Re: Second Engine Replacement Required for Ford Ranger less than 3 years?

A watertrap is a bit of a "bluff". If you are using it in a static environment, or on tarred roads, then yes. If it is in something that is used on a gravel road, that water gets emulsified in he...

  10. Re: Second Engine Replacement Required for Ford Ranger less than 3 years?

If you followed the conversation, you would have read that I found paraffin in Zim and in Zam.

    Enjoy your Ford.
  11. Re: Second Engine Replacement Required for Ford Ranger less than 3 years?

I always carry some 2stroke with me. As soon as I smell the paraffin, I add some 2stroke.
  12. Re: Second Engine Replacement Required for Ford Ranger less than 3 years?

Follow the conversation. There is no paraffin in the truck stops.

The filter takes out the grit. The grit kills the injector and in turn kills the piston.

But I am done repeating myself.

  13. Re: Second Engine Replacement Required for Ford Ranger less than 3 years?

My dear fellow, I am not getting into a pissing contest with you. I ran a depot in Musina.

When I am on the road, I always try and use the truck stops. I also use a UDF filter.

    If the Rangers...
  14. Re: Second Engine Replacement Required for Ford Ranger less than 3 years?

My dear fellow. Those trucks can't run on paraffin. So you WILL cook an engine.

I am yet to get bad diesel from a truckstop. Do you honestly think somebody that turns over that quantity of...

You don't need to, but if you have a battery monitor on, you will see it pulls the battery way down. So let the car idle.
