After my little diff explosion incident, I got the girl back on the road again last week, and immediately took it off-road again to the Brakkeduine trail.

Looking for: V8 Touareg front diff

Anyone know of a scrapyard that might have a front diff for a 2006 V8 Touareg?

I broke mine a few weeks ago and need to source a second hand replacement.

    Re: Treg Owners

I've got a set of 18's I'm willing to split up. They are a bit abused, so ideal for spare wheels.

I'll post some pics over the weekend.

    Re: Treg Owners

See the pics below...some of them from when we were test fitting, hence the 3 wheel nuts only.

The tyres are Radar Renegade RT+ 285/70R17 which are a true size of 33".

    The wheels are Toyota...

My 2006 V8 started making that noise today after quite a violent hill climb with my newly fitted 33" tyres on beadlock rims....I suspect it is the transfer case chain that's slipping.

Hi Malcolm....I've got what you are looking for...I think.

More talking about a 285/70R17 or a 285/65R18...those nominal sizes don't calculate to exactly 33", but for some manufacturers the true size is 33".
