    The recipe i use is quite simple and works for me:

    1 cup bird sesd
    2 tbs peanut butter
    1 cup of fat/lard/drippings
    1/2 cup mielie meal
    2tbs maizena

    Tip. Melt fat and peanut butter together...

    I have the older panel . Unplug the 220v . Turn the charger switch to the Off position. Plug the solar panel in and it should work....mine works like this......Oh and select the correct battery type.

    With regards to the leaks experienced here, i believe the issue is the locks. Adjust them so that they fit tighter ,and when travelling in the rain i use ducktape to cover them. This works well.
