Defender Re: What have you done with your Defender today?

    Wow, sorry about that.

    Any idea what started it?
  2. Re: How to purchase Haynes Defender manual outside UK

Not really an answer to your question, but is there a specific reason you want the Haynes manual.

The rave manual is freely available online and does pretty much the same thing?

    Re: Defender 130 Overlander build

What I have found is that they also have to be adjusted correctly, there is quite a lot of play on them, to allow for land rovers exceptional accuracy with panel alignment.

It can be a bit tricky....

I have used the double sided automotive tape with some success. I see it is available on takealot.

Not sure about a specific glue.

Defender Re: Itís my Defender 90 2.8 thread

I have one of those from stone accessories here on the forum. Works well for keeping small things, or makes a nice spot for a winch cut out switch.
  6. Re: what have you done with / to your Range Rover (Big Body) today

Seems like winter is killing a few batteries. Mine decided on Thursday to pack in.

Started off by throwing random traction control and hill decent errors when starting.

    Then Thursday mooring it...

I am looking for someone who is willing to go and have a look at a land cruiser at we buy cars in PE.

    Defender Re: 300Tdi Exhaust

I have straight through pipe on the 130. Does sound like a tractor if you have passenger window open and drive next to a wall or something.

But in all honesty, I like the sound.

    Power and or...

Re: Fiesta cheap blue Midas coolant bad??

Don't be fooled by the colour, all too often people look at the colour and think it is linked to the type of coolant. All it is is exactly what it's called, a colour, a dye that is added afterwards...

    Will be a bit costly.
