    Take a look here..
A guy did a whole classic Rangie chassis like this on another forum..

    Re: Dirty Diesel in Oz

I have a question regarding that dissolving of water in fuel...

So, the water is dissolved into the fuel, ie. it is no longer a separate blob of water, but is now "included" in the diesel, does...

    Re: Fc rims to galvanize

I'd be wary of hot dip, for that reason, but look at electroplating as an alternative.
Just make sure they post treat for embrittlement, afterwards....

Discovery 2: Re: Hawkeye, Nanocom or others?

I have a question regarding the key's chip...
I bought a key on E-bay and the sticker on the chip is damaged and I can't read all the letters...
Is it possible to somehow "read" the chip to extract...

Re: Discovery: What have you done with your Discovery today?

I can't speak for the iCarsoft, but the Nanocom is not registered to a particular user. You need to enter the Nanocom ID if you want any support form the manufacturer, so that would probably denote...
  8. Re: Remapped my D2 Td5 Auto - just to overcome the pull-away weakness

As a minimum, Standard ISO Specification would be good to have at altitude, and would be well within safe margins, mechanically, but an increase in power should also be achievable, with the usual...

Re: Td5 condesor fan running permanently

It sounds like you upset a connector or a wire in the temperature monitoring circuit, causing the ECU to get the error and trigger the fan and the MadMan to shout at you.

    Go back mentally through...

    Re: Auto Electrics

If you are doing the whole vehicle, why not get a loom from a wreck and have that tidied up before swapping it out?
It will work out a LOT cheaper than a per-hour job doing each wire individually.

Discovery 2: Re: TD5 Head Gasket Again?

I bought an AMC 10P head when I did my replacement, and, I had the choice of with or without valves, too. Granted, it is a few years, now.

    Re: small scale nuclear

The thing that scares me most about nuclear power of any size/scale in SA is the people who will be in charge of it.

    Re: small scale nuclear

They can't make a bomb out of it, but they can make a bomb WITH it. It's called a dirty bomb where the explosives are used to fragment/pulverise the radioactive medium and disperse it.

    Re: Cylinder head temperature

Boiling is not a function of only temperature, pressure also plays a part, hence the 1.1 bar cap NOT resulting in boiling at 110 C.

Re: What have you done with your Discovery today?

I don't know if mine were original, but I sweated to get the bolts loose on mine.
Didn't lose much skin, but definitely a lot of sweat and the Profanisaurus was frequently updated.
